In her foster home, we've lovingly nicknamed her our "plug-and-play" dog because she adapts so effortlessly to whatever life brings her way. She's taken in a busy multi-dog household, brewery outings, car rides, neighborhood walks, holiday festivities, visitors, and even babies without missing a beat. She simply wants to be where her people are, taking life as it comes.

At 6 years old, Francesca is at that wonderful stage in life that so many people are searching for. She's left the chaos of puppyhood behind but still has plenty of life, playfulness, and adventure ahead of her. While her sweet sugar-frosted face may make her look older, she's still happy to romp around with dog friends, explore the world on walks, and join you for outings. Just as happily, she'll spend an entire afternoon curled up nearby while you work or relax.

One of the things we love most about Francesca is how easy it is to simply live with her. She doesn't need to be the center of attention every minute of the day. She's affectionate without being demanding, content without being aloof, and always happy to share quiet moments with the people she loves.

She adores adults, enjoys children, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has even been known to be cat-friendly. As far as Francesca is concerned, everyone is a friend she just hasn't met yet.

She's also the kind of dog who comes with all the perks people hope for when adopting an adult dog. She's house-trained, crate-trained, respectful in the home, trustworthy with her toys, and comfortable spending time relaxing on her own. During the workday, she's usually found snoozing under a desk, avoiding her responsibilities and perfecting the art of napping. At night, she chooses a cozy spot near your bed and sleeps peacefully until morning.

And if you're hoping for a watchdog, Francesca would like to gently lower your expectations. She'd be much more likely to greet an intruder with a wagging tail, show them where the treats are, and politely request some pets.

More than anything, Francesca is the kind of dog who makes life feel a little easier. The kind who quietly becomes part of your routine, your family, and your heart. She doesn't need to prove anything. She's already done the growing up, learned the house manners, and discovered who she is.

Now she's just looking for someone to share the next chapter with.
