Adoption Application

You must be a resident of North Carolina to adopt one of our dogs.

If you live more than 3 hours from the Raleigh-Durham area, adopting from us may be challenging. Your application is NEVER shared outside of NRGRR.

We will be asking your vet to confirm purchase of heartworm prevention. Verification of consistent purchases of heartworm prevention is required before your application can be approved.

Holiday Application Break

We are not accepting new adoption applications from Monday, December 22, 2025 through Sunday, January 4, 2026. We appreciate your patience as we work with previously approved applicants. We look forward to working with new applicants beginning January 5, 2026.
