Abe

Age: 3 yr

Weight: 55 lb

Abe is both house-trained and crate-trained, making him an easy companion to welcome into your home. He's not much of a barker and enjoys a calm, predictable routine. He does well with cats and would like to be a single dog, but could coexist with a female dog if/when introductions are handled slowly and thoughtfully. Abe would do best with older children.

Abe is a sensitive soul who can be wary of unfamiliar people. He needs a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to be his advocate by allowing him to meet new people at his own pace. In return, Abe will reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless love, and that signature smile that brightens every day!

Abe has been with a trainer and has made huge progress on his fears while on leash. He is a regular walker on the bi-weekly pack walks at the art museum and does very well with a variety of handlers! Abe will receive a concierge transfer by the trainer to help with his adjustment to his new surroundings. She loves him and will do anything to help Abe start his new life with his new family on the right foot!

If you're looking for a faithful companion and are willing to give him the patience and understanding he deserves, Abe just might be your perfect match.
