Zeva is a petite flat-coated retriever mix with a calm, affectionate nature. She came into rescue pregnant and heartworm positive but she's now healthy and ready for a home of her own.

Zeva is house-trained, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and learns quickly. She enjoys a game of fetch and loves going on walks. She’s happiest when she gets to explore the world by your side! A backyard is a bonus, but daily walks are what really make her light up.

She bonds closely with her people and would prefer to have you nearby, but she’s also fine being left home alone. She will greet you with a "smile" when you return. Zeva gets along with calm dogs, but she’d be just as happy—or happier—being your one and only. She can be a little anxious about sharing her toys and her favorite humans, so she’ll do best with dogs, kids 12+, or adults who understand her boundaries.
