Valentina
Age: 14 mo
Weight: 54 lb
Val truly wants to be your partner in whatever the day brings — whether that’s a long walk, a run, or an active play session in the yard.
She is fully potty trained and crate trained, and she settles nicely in her crate for downtime and a good night’s sleep. Val walks well on leash when focused, and her foster is continuing to build consistency around distractions — she’s smart and improving every day.
Val would thrive in a home that can positively channel her energy. An active individual, a running or hiking buddy, or a home with an older, playful dog would be ideal. She shows great athletic potential — she loves to leap, dodge, and zoom, and could excel in agility or other dog sports.
Because she’s an enthusiastic 54-pound girl, any children in the home should be comfortable around energetic dogs. When excited or in new situations, Val may jump up or try to give enthusiastic face kisses. She is working on this with training and making progress, but very young children could find it overwhelming.
Val will do best with a committed adopter who can provide structure, consistency, and continued training. She is highly motivated to please, learns quickly, and has so much untapped potential. With guidance and leadership, she will absolutely blossom into an incredible companion.
If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, affectionate dog who is ready to grow with you, Val may be your perfect match.
