Turkey Aden is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before March 22, 2025. She is an international dog and will incur the international dog adoption fee.

Aden is a former breeder dog who hails from Türkiye and as you can see this butterball could still lose a few pounds.

Aden is the sweetest dog who loves to be around people and just cuddle and be pet all day. Aden is very calm and low energy and gets along great with our dog and has learned cats are no longer scary and is not bothered anymore by our 3 cats being around her. 

Aden would probably prefer someone who is home most of the day but more importantly needs to have a canine companion(s) in the household to make her feel secure and pal around with.  A fenced yard is a must since she loves quality outdoor time to bask in the sun and smell that NC air. 

Aden is crate trained and housebroken but have noticed that when we leave and upon return the bedding in the crate has been excessively licked  but is not destructive. Aden is still learning how to live in a home environment so at times quick movements and unknown sounds can be scary and of course smells of food are very interesting but she does not counter surf and does not beg for food when people are eating at the table.

Continued leash training would be the only special need for this very loving and calm soul who just wants to be around canines to feel safe and secure and in no time Aden will probably be the star of the neighborhood enjoying her new family.
