Turkey Rush is a gentle, soulful ~9–10-year-old Golden Retriever with the sweetest, most easygoing personality to match her irresistibly expressive eyebrows that stand straight up. How can you not fall in love with her adorable face? She is truly precious. She is wonderfully calm and low-key—the kind of dog who is simply content being near her people. Whether she’s lounging peacefully on a screened-in lanai (her favorite pastime), soaking up the breeze, or quietly keeping you company around the house, her presence is soothing and full of love. When she wants attention, she knows exactly how to ask—she’ll gently nudge your hand for head scratches or flop upside down with a goofy, fangy grin to entice you into giving her the tummy rubs she absolutely loves.

Turkey Rush still has a playful sparkle but keeps it nicely balanced with her relaxed nature. She enjoys running around in a fenced-in yard as well as leisurely walks, where her enthusiasm sometimes shows with a little leash pulling. Fully housebroken, she will let you know when she needs to go out. She also has the cutest little quirks—like her excitement over getting an ice cube to crunch on, which she treats like a special prize. She enjoys car rides and would love to be your easygoing sidekick for errands, outings, or just a change of scenery. More than anything, she simply wants to be included and close to her people.

Through no fault of her own, Turkey Rush was returned to NRGRR after two years with her previous owner. She is now hoping for the new, loving forever family she truly deserves. She experiences some separation anxiety and may bark or pace when left alone, so she would do best with a stay-at-home parent, a work-from-home household, or someone who can take her along throughout the day. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty, gentle affection, and a peaceful, loving presence—along with all the sweetness you could ever hope for in a Golden Retriever.
