About Tatum!

  • Age: We think Tatum is 5-6 years old.

  • Background: Tatum was initially found as a stray and was heartworm positive. She’s since finished her treatments and is heartworm negative.

  • Energy Level: Low. Tatum loves playtime with her foster brother but mostly enjoys naps on the couch. She and her foster brother love running outside occasionally to bark back at neighborhood dogs (they do an excellent job of protecting their foster home).

  • Ideal schedule: Tatum would do well in most homes but would benefit from someone who could give her a mid-day potty break.

  • Leash manners: Tatum does well on a leash and enjoys her walks. She does bark at other dogs she encounters.

  • Good with kids: Tatum is unbothered by her human foster sister (a preschooler) and appreciates that this sister often tries to sneak her treats. Tatum has also been great with other children in her foster’s neighborhood.

  • What she is looking for: Tatum would love for her fur-ever home to include a fenced in yard she can “patrol” freely and a family she can show her love to.
