Rhonda

Age: 2 yr

Weight: 35 lb

Rhonda is a sweet, puppy-like girl who just wants to be around her people! She came into rescue with her lone surviving puppy and was a great mom to him. But he is off on his own now and it’s Rhonda’s turn. With the looks and temperament of a Golden Retriever at half the usual size she will be the perfect companion for a family that is looking for an energetic, well-adjusted dog who wants equal parts cuddles and play.

Rhonda can be a little shy around new people at first but she quickly opens up and wants to stick to you like glue. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. She enjoys a chew toy (and shoes), but with appropriate redirection she can learn they do not belong to her.  Rhonda would love to be with someone who can match her energetic need for zoomies in the yard and daily walks. She has enjoyed running with resident dogs and other fosters so a playful  companion would help manage her energy.

Rhonda is well potty-trained and does fine in a crate. She does not know many commands but could easily learn! With a loving and engaged owner she will blossom into a dog that everyone admires.
