Miriam

Age: 3 yr

Weight: 66 lb

Miriam is a Golden/Great Pyrenees mix. She was found running loose and was surrendered to NRGRR  from a shelter.  She is now looking for a loving home to share the love and attention.  She is crate trained, however is completely housetrained and has free range within the house even when her fosters are away for several hours.  She has her favorite toys and bones to entertain herself. Miriam takes naps near her foster family or on the back deck.   She alerts the family when strangers are walking by the house, come to the door, or are in a neighbor’s backyard.  She enjoys car rides and is always willing to jump in the car for a new adventure. Miriam is working on her leash skills and improving, but she loves to explore a fenced yard too.

Miriam would do best to be an only dog or potentially live with a non-dominant dog.  She has not been around cats or small children, so her reaction to those is unknown.  Miriam sleeps on the floor of the bedroom at night.  She is afraid of thunder and needs to be near family for reassurance and safety until it passes.

Overall, Miriam is a sweet, loyal lovebug looking for her forever home!
