How I met my foster family? I got lost and was found! I went to live in the animal shelter, where I stayed for a long time. Some days, people would visit. Some days no one came at all. A month went by, and my friends at the shelter grew very concerned about my future. They reached out to NRGRR and here I am!
Everyone loves my curvy tail. It expresses my personality to a T! My starter mom says I’m a rocketful of sunshine. I play well with others and have grown to appreciate morning jogs and evening walks with my starter sister on a leash. I love the little humans but mostly just watching them. Whenever I meet one, I lie down and let them come to me.
More than anything else, I love FOOD! Food was pretty scarce before, so at mealtimes, I tend to want to ‘grab and go.’ I can manage a polite ‘sit’ for treats, but when I see my bowl, I get too excited to focus. I love my puzzle bowl, because it keeps me from eating too much too fast. Mom thinks I am still too skinny. I get lots of pets and treats.
There are lots of kids and things with wheels and I really want to chase them. There’s a big housecat next door plus loads of bunnies and squirrels. We mostly ignore each other.
At home, I love my crate and often hang out inside with the door open. At night, I sleep inside it with the door open, having earned run of the house. I will raid the recycling or chew on leather shoes, if left within reach. But after all, I am just a baby!
