My name is Marigold, and I’m a sweet, smart, and active girl who’s ready to find my forever home! I love to get outside for walks, explore nature, and meet new people — I get so excited that sometimes I can’t help but do little happy jumps to show how thrilled I am. I really enjoy getting my exercise, and once I’ve had a good walk or play session, I’m able to settle down and relax. My favorite thing is to be near my humans, whether that means resting quietly while you work or just hanging out and keeping you company.

I’m crate trained and do well with a routine. I’m still working on my leash skills because sometimes I pull when I’m eager to see what’s ahead. But I’m learning — my foster dad helps me with gentle redirection, and I’m getting better every day. I love meeting new people and seem to get along with other dogs I’ve encountered, though I haven’t lived with another dog in my foster home. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure how I’d do around them.

I would love to find an active home where I can get regular exercise and have fun with my family. A fenced yard would be great so I can explore safely, but I mostly like to stay close to my people. I’m eager to please, and I really just want to make my people happy. I can’t wait to find a family who will play with me, continue my training, and give me the love and structure I need. In return, I’ll be a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion
