Hi there! My name is Kosovo Trina and I want to be your princess. I am sweet, smart, funny, loyal, goofy, confident, cuddly and love my humans big! I traveled all the way from Kosovo and learned English in just a short time. I am house broken; crate trained and can be trusted to be left alone in the house roaming free. I LOVE balls, all shapes and sizes and when I am in the mood, I will play fetch until I am exhausted. I am pretty good on a leash. My foster mom tells me I am the hare in some story called the tortoise and the hare. My foster dog sibling is the tortoise, and he beats me on walks every time. He is 9 and I just don’t get how he wins. I start out strong walking at a fast pace but man I tire out quickly. My current neighborhood is HILLY! I am building my endurance but for now I like shorter fast paced walks and to play fetch. I can be a little dog reactive on a leash, but I am working on that every day!
Do you like to snuggle? I have a PhD in snuggling and LOVE the couch so I hope to find a family who loves me being on their couch as much as I do! I will curl up next to you to take a nap or watch a long movie!
I am good with other dogs, but I would be ecstatic to be the only dog in the house. I love being the center of attention and will steal attention every second I can from my foster dog siblings. I share toys pretty well but I like to have ALL the balls to myself if possible.
I am good with all people, big and small, but would do best in a home with kids 10 and older. I like to play with my humans and sometimes I can be a little rough which is not suited for smaller kiddos. I will stay close to my humans in my yard and my recall is good. I am particular about where I go potty and love to bathe in the sunshine so a fenced yard would be nice to have but not required. I would love for someone in my family to be home with me part of the work day, if not all of it! I am very social and need a lot of human interaction. I will get lonely if I am left alone for long periods of time. When my foster family leaves the house, I wait for them by the door until they return home. I much prefer a full house to an empty house.
I was treated for a skin infection since arriving here in America and my foster mom put me in some really cool T-shirts to protect me from scratching while I healed. “Fit Change” day was my favorite as I got to prance around in a new fancy T-shirt. My T-shirts were my princess dress, and I strutted all over my yard and on walks with my T-shirt on.
I can’t wait to meet my forever family. I will make you laugh and snuggle up next to you to make you smile when you are having a bad day. I love humans, tennis balls, and life! I can’t wait to spend the rest of mine with the perfect family.
