Janice
Age: 5 yr
Weight: 34 lb
Janice is a joyful and warm-hearted companion who brings a smile to everyone’s face. She's completely housebroken, well-mannered, and loves to walk by your side on a leash. Janice serves as an excellent watchdog, alerting you when anyone approaches the house or knocks at the door. One of her nicknames is “Stealth” because she is quiet and blends easily into her surroundings.
Janice shares her home with two large, laid-back male dogs and has settled right in. Her foster family doesn't have any children, but she gets along well with neighborhood kids aged 12 and older. Since her foster family doesn’t have a cat, her behavior around them remains a mystery to be discovered.
Janice enjoys walks, treats, and greeting you in the morning. At night, she quietly settles in by the bedside but also loves the special occasions when she’s allowed on the bed.
Janice dislikes being in the crate, but she can be trusted to roam freely at home. Her foster family has left her with her buddies without incident for at least four hours a day. She started with a somewhat “picky” appetite but quickly learned that her “brothers” would gobble up anything she left behind. She adapted to the food program quite quickly.
A “perfect” match would be a home where Janice can receive the love and attention she deserves. She has access to a fenced backyard but would do just as well with someone who can take her for a few walks each day. At 5 years old, she is a mature, calm, and trainable companion.
