Isadore is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before Feb 7, 2026.

Isadora is a fun-loving, energetic dog who truly shines when she gets daily exercise and time to play—especially a good game of fetch, her absolute favorite. She’ll do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely burn off energy, as she has a strong instinct to chase birds.

Her ideal family is either a home with children 5 and up or an adult-only household. Isadora is social and gets along well with other dogs, but she can be a bit of a food opportunist—she’ll happily sample from other bowls if given the chance. Because of this, she’ll need to be fed separately and have her portions carefully monitored as she continues her veterinarian-guided weight loss journey.

On leash, Isadora is well-behaved and doesn’t react to other dogs, making walks enjoyable and manageable. That said, birds are her weakness—if she spots one, she may try to dart after it. She’ll benefit from consistent redirection and guidance, and quieter walking areas with fewer small animals will help set her up for success.

Beyond her playful side, Isadora is incredibly loving and affectionate. She’s a world-class cuddler who’s happiest curled up on the couch with her head resting on your chest. She settles quickly, is fully house trained, and does great on car rides—an all-around brave and easygoing girl. If you work from home, she’ll happily keep you company (and your feet warm) by snoozing under your desk, always ready for a few extra pets.

With the right balance of structure, activity, and love, Isadora will make a joyful and devoted companion.
