Kosovo Happy is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before Dec 1, 2025. He is an international dog and will incur the international dog adoption fee.

Kosovo Happy25, or simply Happy, is a lovable young Golden Retriever with a personality that radiates joy. True to his name, he is always smiling, eager to greet everyone, and happiest when he’s part of the action. He also lives up to his Retriever roots, if it fits in his mouth, he’ll proudly bring it to you! Toys, clothes, shoes… Happy sees everything as a fun opportunity to “help” by retrieving.

Because he is still young, Happy has puppy energy and thrives in a home that can give him daily exercise, structure, and training. He is not a couch-potato dog; he needs long walks, play sessions, and mental stimulation to keep him balanced. Without enough activity, he may look for his own entertainment usually by retrieving things he shouldn’t!  Happy loves learning new tricks, playing fetch, and exploring the outdoors, making him a perfect fit for someone with an active lifestyle.

Happy would do best in a home that has time to play with him, guide him, and reinforce boundaries. While he can stay home alone when needed, he will do best with a crate or playpen setup in the beginning for safety and structure. He gets along well with other dogs in the home and enjoys engaging in play, though he may bark on leash during walks something that can improve with consistent training. 

He is wonderful with children of all ages, but because of his youthful enthusiasm and energy, older kids may be a better match to avoid accidental knocking over.

A great home for Happy is one that is active, loving, and committed to keeping him exercised and mentally engaged. A dog companion who enjoys playing would be a bonus, as Happy loves nonstop fun with other pups. In return, he’ll bring laughter, affection, and endless happiness into your life. He loves morning snuggles, jumps on the bed to give wake-up kisses, and often brings you “gifts” to brighten your day.
