Greta is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before Oct 20, 2025.

Greta is a joy to have in our house and can’t wait to find her forever family. She’s a 6-year-old sweetheart who is enjoying learning all that life has to offer and constantly greets us with a wagging tail. She is calm and can be shy as she discovers new things and noises, but with a little reassurance she masters any situation.

She walks nicely on a leash in neighborhoods and the woods, interested in squirrels and deer but doesn’t pull and is easy to correct. She’s met many dogs while walking, always approaching cautiously and wagging her tail to meet new friends. She sleeps in her crate and is left out in the home during the day with no problems and she knows how to sit and we’re working on other commands.

Greta is great with kids and loves getting pets and snuggles from anyone big or small. She likes to be close, following us around the house but settles in when the moving stops. 

She’s still shy and concerned about noises and new things (like blenders and the garage door opener) and will need an adopter willing to reassure her through the new encounters. Greta will make an amazing addition to your home and family with a little patience and love.
