Gibson is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before June 3, 2025.

At 16 weeks Gibson is already nearly 30 pounds!  He’s going to be a big boy we think. He’s super sweet and loves meeting new people as he melts into your legs.   He has been working hard on all his basic commands and house manners.  He has a good grasp of sit, shake, down, leave it, place and kennel.  He is doing great with his potty training and just started going to the door or giving his foster parents a big stare down to say ”I need to go out.”  He’s not perfect but getting there.  Gibson also enjoys going on walks and walks nicely on the leash.  He likes to lead the way by holding the end of the leash. 

Gibson sleeps quietly in his pen/crate area usually giving you a 7 hour sleep time.  But if you get up then so does he.  And he’s ready to start the day.  No going back to bed for this pup!

We are working on car rides with him.  He’s great in the car but his belly sometimes gets a little upset.  So we are doing a lot of short trips with him so he gets used to the movement.

We found out this week that Gibson absolutely LOVES water while giving him a bath.  So if you have a pool or visit the beach or lake he will be your best swimming buddy.  

So if you ask  Gibson, he  would love a home with a fenced in yard so he can get his zoomies out- another dog to tire him out would be awesome for him - maybe a few kids to run him around and an active family that would take him swimming.
