Meet Felix!

Felix is the kind of dog who makes himself unforgettable — equal parts goofy charm, loyal companion, and gentle protector. With his signature smile and expressive personality, he has a way of winning over everyone he meets (and yes… he will let you know when he’s not done with head rubs by tossing your arm right back into position).

This handsome Great Pyrenees mix is fully potty-trained and has wonderful house manners. He’s incredibly social with other dogs — big, small, and everything in between — truly believing that everyone is his friend. While he loves affection, Felix also embodies that classic Pyrenees independence: he’ll happily soak up attention on his terms, then settle nearby to keep a watchful eye on his people.

Felix has been out and about and is a total star in public. From HomeGoods to Lowe’s to Hobby Lobby, he handles new environments with calm confidence. He walks beautifully on leash (a skill he’s worked hard to improve!) and even manages group walks like a pro. He also rides well in the car, making him an easy companion for adventures.

At home, Felix would thrive in a space with a fenced yard where he can roam, stretch his legs, and show off his joyful zoomies. He especially loves playtime with his humans — being chased around the yard is one of his favorite games. True to his guardian roots, he takes his job seriously when it comes to keeping an eye on the home (delivery trucks, you’ve been warned), but he’s all love when it comes to people.

Felix has also proven himself to be incredibly intuitive and loyal — he’s been the sweetest protector and companion to his pregnant foster mom, always staying close and tuned in.

His journey hasn’t been without challenges. While in rescue, Felix bravely battled cancer after a mass was found on his ear. He underwent surgery to remove part of his ear flap, and today he is thriving and cancer-free — a true testament to his resilience and spirit.

A few things to know about Felix:
Felix prefers not to be startled from behind and does best when he can see what’s happening around him. Because of this, any younger children in the home should be supervised to ensure respectful interactions. He has done well with kids in controlled settings and is gentle, calm, and affectionate when introductions are thoughtful.

Felix has not yet been tested with cats.

The bottom line?
Felix is a loyal, loving, and slightly goofy guardian who will bring both joy and a sense of security to his future home. He’s the perfect mix of independent and affectionate — always nearby, always devoted.

If you’re looking for a best friend who will make you smile every day (and maybe demand just one more ear scratch), Felix might just be your perfect match. 🐾
