Faith
Age: 3 yr
Weight: 56 lb
Faith is a brave and beautiful three-year-old purebred golden retriever who came into rescue after her former family could no longer meet her special needs. Born a tripod, she’s handled life with a ridiculous amount of spunk and sweetness, and the rescue has made sure she got everything she needed — including corrective eyelid surgery, physical therapy, and even her own little set of “wheelies” for longer adventures (she’s still working every day in them and looking super stylish per her Foster Mom). Faith is a total lap dog at heart, a professional counter-surfer in training, and she’s learned all the important house manners like “down” and staying on her bed when her humans leave so she doesn’t try to follow them out the door. She takes one routine medication twice a day for comfort and an occasional trazodone for extra calm. She does have some separation anxiety, but she thrives with another friendly dog around — she does amazing with her foster family’s male golden and relaxes beautifully when she has a companion. Faith currently does 30 minutes of at-home physical therapy each day in her foster home, and her foster mom will happily show her future family how simple it is and how gracefully Faith participates. She is resilient, affectionate, goofy, and so ready for a forever family who sees her for the incredible, joyful soul she is.
