Coral

Age: 20 mo

Weight: 32 lb

Coral is a 20-month-old sweetheart who came to us with her 7 puppies, and now that her babies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to find a family of her own.

This friendly girl loves people and wants to be involved in everything you do. A classic Velcro dog, she may even check on you in the bathroom! She’s affectionate without being overwhelming.  A robust “where have you been” greeting is a must when you return home from shopping.  Coral walks nicely on leash, enjoys exploring the world, and only occasionally forgets her manners when a squirrel makes an appearance.

At home, she’s easy to live with. She doesn’t beg during meals, prefers to graze on her food throughout the day, and has done well being left alone for short periods without being destructive. Coral would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, especially when she is first learning all about her new family and schedule,  because being close to her people is one of her favorite things.

Coral is looking for a home with children 8 and older and no other dogs. Remember she prefers to snack during the day. She spent months in full momma-bear protection mode while raising her puppies, so she is still learning how to relax and appropriately interact with other dogs now that she no longer has babies depending on her.

If you’re looking for a loving, loyal dog who will happily be your shadow, Coral may be the perfect match.
