Hi there! Clayton here – just checking in on all you beautiful people to see if you might be interested in welcoming me into your home. I’m three years old and I am an extremely happy guy! I love to go for long walks and I’m good on a leash. I am an enthusiastic greeter when I first meet new people so I am working on keeping all four feet on the ground.

I’m not so good with stuffed animals or toys meant for most other dogs. My fosters say I am an “indiscriminate eater”, meaning I don’t just dismember the toys, I also like to swallow them. I guess that’s not so good for my tummy. I would do best in a home with no small children and no other dogs (I would hate to deprive them of their own toys just because I shouldn’t have them!)  I have not chewed on furniture or anything that wasn’t meant for a dog (ok, a napkin or two, maybe).

A fenced yard is not required as I am just as happy to go on walks with my people to expend some of my young boy energy. In the house, I will be wherever you are as I have a big case of FOMO (fear of missing out). I am a very smart boy and know the basic commands and would be willing to learn more, given the right amount of treats! I am perfectly fine with being left alone in the house for a few hours and I’m trustworthy so I don’t need a crate. Snuggle time in the evenings makes me very happy and I am a “lap dog wannabe” even though I’m too big to fit! If you’re looking for a sweet, handsome, fluffy, loveable bundle of joy, I’m your guy!
