Hi there. Did you just look at me?
Okay, well... we’re friends now. That’s how this works. 💛
I’m Cinderella: a one-and-a-half-year-old girl with the biggest personality in the room and the kind of face that makes people say, “Oh honey, you’re adorable.” People driving to work will stop their car to tell me how much I make their day when they see me out on my morning walk. I take that as a huge compliment.
I love everyone. People, dogs, delivery drivers…if you’ve got a heartbeat, you’re probably someone I want to be besties with. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love. I take eye contact very seriously—lock eyes with me, and I’ll commit to you like we’ve been best friends forever.
I’m also what they call an “easy guest.” I adapt to routines fast, I sleep through the night in my space like a little angel, and I’m totally food motivated. Which means if you want to teach me tricks, I will say: yes, please! More snacks, more praise, more fun.
If you’ve been looking for a silly, soulful, joyful, wiggly girl who just wants to be near you (and maybe help you redecorate with strategically placed toys), I might be your match. I’m a loyal sidekick with a heart full of love - and I’m ready to share all of it.
Medical Note: Cinderella was born with some congenital medical issues and we’re still actively working on them. Her journey has included multiple surgeries and lots of specialist visits, and she takes it all in stride.
Here’s where we are now:
Cinderella is urinary incontinent due to malformations in her urinary tract system. She can wear diapers on a limited basis and needs ongoing support to stay clean and comfortable. She has large washable pee pads to cover flooring.
She has a congenital heart condition that she takes daily medications for. It’s monitored, and while she won’t be your jogging partner, she’s great at pacing herself and resting when needed.
Her care team continues to explore options to improve her continence and comfort. She will likely always need a bit of extra care—but in return, she’ll give you a ton of extra love.
What we’re looking for:
Cinderella needs a long term/possible permanent foster home where she can be adored and looked after without the stress of being bounced around. Her medical needs will continue to be supported by the rescue, but she needs a soft place to land and someone who sees her for the magnificent dog she is.
If you’ve got a heart big enough for a dog who leaks a little and loves a lot - Cinderella’s waiting for you.
