Turkey Cecilia is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before Sept 1, 2025. She is an international dog and will incur the international dog adoption fee.

Cecilia is a loving, playful, and loyal companion who is ready to find her forever home. She thrives on human attention and would happily spend all day being petted, cuddled, or simply following you around. When you come through the door, she’ll greet you with a joyful “hug” by jumping up to say hello. She enjoys time in the backyard exploring with her nose and loves playing with her favorite squeaky toys, occasionally joining in a fun game of fetch.

She is still working on her leash manners and basic commands, but she is eager to learn and very treat-motivated. With consistent training and positive reinforcement, she’ll catch on quickly. When it comes to other dogs, Cecilia does best with slow introductions. After just a few minutes, she warms up and is comfortable being around them, eventually joining in playtime on her own terms. She’s good about being around other dogs while receiving treats as long as others respect her space.

This gentle girl would do best in a patient home where she will be included in daily life and given plenty of love and reassurance. A family who enjoys playtime, has a secure yard for sniffing adventures, and is committed to continuing her training will be a wonderful match. She may need occasional help with allergies or itch relief, but with the right care, she’ll be happy and healthy.
