Meet the Bourbon Puppies!  Born into NRGRR after we rescued their sweet mama, Darby, these adorable pups are now looking for their forever homes.

Puppies are irresistible bundles of joy, but they’re also a big commitment. Along with the snuggles, happy tail wags, and silly antics come early mornings, potty accidents, chewed shoes, and consistent training. They’ll need time, patience, and structure to grow into happy, well-mannered adult dogs.

From teaching basic commands to guiding them through the “everything goes in my mouth” phase (yes—those sharp puppy teeth are real!), every day will be a learning experience for both you and your pup. Your efforts now will shape their confidence, trust, and good behavior for years to come.

Applicants should be realistic about their schedules—puppies need lots of exercise, attention, and supervision. Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the day or can make reliable arrangements to meet their needs.  Additionally, the Bourbon puppies are especially mouthy and would not do well in a home with small children.

The Boys:

Willet: This sweet, silly golden pup is full of charm and fun.  Confident and eager to please, he’s already mastered “sit” and can’t wait to learn more.  Willet would be a wonderful fit for any home ready to welcome the joy (and a little bit of chaos) that comes with a playful puppy.

Woodford: This sweet and playful pup has just the right touch of mischief to keep you smiling. He loves to be near his people, adores playing with his brother and is always up for a good romp.  Woodford would blossom in a patient loving home that can help him build his confidence and grow into the best golden he can be.

Booker:  With his big puppy eyes and even bigger personality, Booker is the perfect mix of playful and sweet. He’s a curious little explorer who loves romping around with his siblings, chasing toys, and making you laugh with his silly antics. When playtime is over, he’s all about cozy snuggles and long, happy naps. Booker is ready to bring joy, love, to his forever family.

The Girls:

Penelope: This playful girl loves to explore.  She is cautious but brave and a bit mischievous.  She has all the characteristics of a golden retriever with an adorable face and  fluffy coat.  She loves to find the coolest spot to take a long nap.

Rowan: This snuggle bug loves to curl up in your arms for a nap, just to be close.  She may be small, but she is sweet, mighty and sassy!  She has the sleekest coat and the softest ears.

Ellie: This lovable golden girl will gaze at you with her sweet eyes and melt your heart.  She loves nothing more than to be near her people.

McKenna: This smart and adventurous golden girl loves to chase after the ball.  She will also settle at your feet for a quick power nap.  McKenna would love a family willing to play ball or take a walk to burn off her puppy energy.
