Would you believe us if we told you Bodhi might just be the perfect dog for you? With his soulful eyes and gentle heart, he’s ready to be someone’s very best friend.

Bodhi came to NRGRR when his previous family had to move and sadly couldn’t take him along. While that was a tough change, Bodhi has settled beautifully into his foster home and is patiently waiting for a forever family to call his own.

In his previous home, Bodhi was crate trained, but in foster he hasn’t needed one at all—he’s proven to be completely trustworthy in the house. At night, he’s happy snoozing in his bed right beside yours, keeping you company in the sweetest way.

Bodhi is currently the only dog in his foster home, but he has had very successful playdates with other golden friends and enjoys their company. On walks, he sometimes shows interest in meeting other dogs but is doing a wonderful job responding to “leave it.” He’s also been working hard on his squirrel (and chicken!) manners and has made great progress. What Bodhi really loves most is being outside with his person—especially on long Greenway walks. A backyard would be a bonus, but honestly, he’s happiest wherever you are… particularly if a tennis ball is involved. 

He’s polite enough to stay off the furniture but absolutely lights up when invited onto the couch for some quality cuddle time. Bodhi has mastered the classic golden “paw” and the gentle nose boop—his favorite ways to ask for a little extra love. He’s also the perfect work-from-home companion, happily keeping you company and reminding you to take the occasional break for pets or a walk.
