Bernie is available to applicants whose applications were received on or before Sept. 25, 2026.

Bernie is a sweet boy with lots of love to give! He loves cuddling with people and would be happy to be your weighted blanket whenever you need. He enjoys walks and playing fetch, and does well with other dogs too! He's very well behaved and knows basic commands.

Bernie is crate trained, and while he does okay in his crate, he doesn't love being alone for long periods of time. He is currently crated when home alone, but could likely be trusted to roam free with time. His ideal home would have someone home during most of the day.

He's happy to roam the yard, but equally happy to get his exercise through walks - as long as he's with his human he's happy!

Bernie would do well in a variety of homes. Give him a chance to see how much love he can give!
