Cassie/Lady has been quite the joy in our life for several years now. I've enclosed 2 pictures, one when we first got her, and one a couple of weeks ago.
This was Cassie when we first got her in 1999, and we renamed her to Lady.......quite the pup after having had to put down a 12 year old Golden.
Lady has just turned 6 and enjoys quite the life between Raleigh and the beach. She loves to ride in her boat, My Lady Soul. If the boat's not going out, she enjoys fishing off the docks, and will watch for hours, as long as every once in a while you bring the rod in so that a new piece of bait can go on it. She hasn't fallen over yet! And, she loves sushi. You don't leave the jumping bait where she can see it. She loves chasing the birds from the dock and at low tide trying to get the oysters out of the water. After her hard day at play, she comes back up to the house, stretches out on the deck, and watches the boats and birds. Then, and only then, her most favorite past time becomes dropping the tennis ball off the deck. She loves the sound of a bouncing tennis ball.
Thanks for all of your hard work! I've just included NRGRR in my United Way campaigns and I hope it gets to you with no problems.

Scooter (now called Palmer) was adopted in August of 1999, and now enjoys life on the couch and at the beach!
