Available Dogs -Pilgrim

Pilgrim celebrating

Are you ready to start the new year by giving a sweet dog a new home?

Pilgrim was found on the side of a road out in Boone. He was starving and alone. A Good Samaritan brought him to a shelter and another kind women pulled him out, and called us. We brought him to the Raleigh area to start his new life. Considering everything he has been through, it’s surprising to see still he has such a trusting and warm personality. He has gained some weight and has been given vet care, and he is ready to find his forever home.

He is mostly deaf but does respond to clapping. He loves being with people. He is great with other dogs and also great with cats.

Pilgrim does not require much exercise or a fence. He enjoys hanging out with people. He does not need a crate. If you are looking for a gentle senior dog, Pilgrim is a great choice.
