Dasher

Sponsor_Me

Hi Dog Lovers, let me introduce myself -  My club name is Dasher, after a very famous, bigger four-legged animal with whom I share some similarities! I actually answer to Wiggles or Wig, maybe because my tail wags all the time. If you are looking for a handsome and very well behaved boy, I just might be your kind of dog. I am a little on the mellow side but I was very excited about running around in the snow and playing with my new sister. I look forward to my walks. I pull a little, so my foster family is using a harness while we get used to walking. I get along with my foster brother and sister and we have decided I am the new sheriff in our pack. We sorted that out without much fuss! I can't really tell you exactly how I do with children or cats but I suspect I like them. If you plan to leave me outside unattended you will probably want a fence since I do like to explore the surroundings. I know my "Come" and "Sit" commands very well and have almost learned some new ones called "Down" and "Shake."

I don't seem to play with toys or balls but I bet I can learn that they are great fun. My foster family trusts me in the house alone with my new brother and sister since my house manners are very good. You can leave for several hours, and I don't seem to mind. You might want to try a few hours at a time as we get used to each other. I will miss my foster family but I know I need a furrever family of my own. I promise to make you a proud and happy owner! WOOF!WOOF!

Oh, I forgot to tell you, my favorite thing is to be close to you and be petted for a long time!

Sandy is a sweet and perky senior - she just doesn't happen to look like a senior and her petite size has helped keep her fit and trim.  Like an aging beauty queen, she has held on to her amazing good looks with wonderful rabbit-like fur and a cute little compact body.  Her favorite activities are strolling in the park and walking the neighborhood.  She has a touch of the diva in her and is not interested in performing 'tricks' or chasing balls.  After her walks, she wants to lounge, do a little foot frolicking and be adored - which is how we think all senior ladies should get to spend their days.  Of course she has great house manners but she still loves to use the doggie door in her foster's home.  Beauty does have a price and she'll require regular brushing to keep her fur looking lustrous and tangle free.  She's just a great little dog.

If you are looking for a 'mini-me' Golden companion, then this girl is waiting to hear from you!!
