Donate Crates

Why is there a need for crates?
All of our rescued dogs live with foster families while they are waiting for adoption. Many of our foster families crate train their foster dogs. NRGRR likes to provide each foster family with a crate to use for as long as they are fostering. Crate training has many benefits:

It prevents destructive behavior.
It keeps the dog safe.
It provides a comfortable, secure place for the dog to sleep.
It helps the housebreaking process.

What types of crates are needed?
We can use plastic airline crates or metal wire crates. We especially need large crates, but smaller crates can be used for puppies. The crates don't need to be in perfect condition, but they do need to be secure.

How can you donate a crate?
If you are interested in donating a crate, please call the info line at 919-676-7144 or e-mail NRGRR@hotmail.com. Someone will contact you about making arrangements for pick up/drop off.
