A Great Mystery Character Fundraiser!

Don't sleep through this chance to be a character in a novel!

David Rosenfelt, a novelist and Golden Retriever rescuer, will use the winner’s name in an upcoming novel. All proceeds for this fundraiser will go to NRGRR and the winning character will be announced at the 9th Annual Rescue Reunion on July 11, 2009. The winning name will be used in a mystery novel scheduled to be published in 2010.

All submissions will be entered into a drawing for an autographed copy of David Rosenfelt's latest novel, New Tricks.

Here’s how it works:

1.	Nominate your favorite dog (all breeds and mixes welcome) or dog owner by submitting a donation (minimum $50) to NRGRR. For every $1 you donate your entrant will receive one vote.
	Submit payment through PayPal:

	Mail a check payable to NRGRR to: NRGRR P.O. Box 37156 Raleigh, NC 27627 Please include the name of the dog or person you are nominating on your check or in the comments of your PayPal submission.
2.	E-mail NRGRRGMCF@yahoo.com a photo of the dog or person you are entering and the reasons your nominee should be a character in David Rosenfelt’s mystery novel (limit one photo and 100 words). Photo and reasons are optional but may help you get VOTES required to win. Please include your PayPal reference number or check name/number so we can match your payment to your e-mail. All photos and text become property of NRGRR and may be edited prior to posting on NRGRR's website. By submitting a photo you are giving permission to NRGRR to post it on the website and acknowledging that any persons in the photo have given their permission for it to be posted on the website. At NRGRR's discretion, any photo deemed inappropriate will not be posted.
3.	Ask your friends and family to donate their votes! After your entry is confirmed, photos and descriptions will be posted on the voting page. (Please allow 24-48 hours for your entry to be posted.) Donations can be submitted through PayPal or mailed in, but they must be submitted/postmarked by midnight July 2, 2009 EDT. Please include the name of the contestant with your check. The entrant that raises the most donations for NRGRR wins!
