Please join us for our 2nd Annual Golden Swim and Picnic, where dogs will have a ball and NRGRR will be able to raise much needed funds to support our rescued Goldens. 100% of the proceeds from this event support the medical care and rehabilitation of rescued Goldens.

You can help contribute to this fundraiser in any of the following ways...

LUNCH!
Please come hungry and support the rescue by buying hamburgers and hot dogs grilled and served by NRGRR Volunteers from 11am-2pm. Cold drinks, chips and desserts will also be available for sale. As a special treat, Rita's Italian Ice will be participating at our event and donating a portion of their Italian ice sales to the rescue. We greatly appreciate their help in making this an exciting and profitable event.

DOG WASH!
Our volunteers will be accepting donations to wash dogs that have been swimming in the pond and want to smell pretty before they go home!

GOLDEN RAFFLE!
Purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win great prizes from local merchants.

MERCHANDISE!
Our popular NRGRR logo and Golden Retriever merchandise will be available for purchase.

WISHING WELL!
Bring your spare change for our Golden Wishing Well, and help support future rescue dogs who one day hope to join in on the fun.

TIPS AND REMINDERS

Don't forget to bring cash/checks so you can purchase food, merchandise and raffle tickets. We are unable to accept credit cards.
Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting wet and a little (or a lot) muddy.
Bring some extra towels to dry your wet dogs.
We welcome all well-socialized dogs, even if they are not Golden!

Directions:

From Raleigh, take US1 south to Tryon Road East.
Follow Tryon Road East to Kildaire Farm Road.
Turn right onto Kildaire Farm Road.
Follow Kildaire Farm Road 2 miles to Penny Road.
Turn left on Penny Road.
Go 1/2 mile to entrance to Montague's Pond @ 10301 Penny Road.
Follow long driveway past Montague Building Office on the right to the Pond area.
